SUMMARY:GGRC Self-Determination Local Advisory Committee (SDLAC) Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Self-Determination Local Advisory Committee (SDLAC) is a group of volunteers who help guide and improve the Self-Determination Program at GGRC. The committee includes people who use regional center services\, family members\, as well as a representative from the State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD). \nGGRC SDLAC meetings are open to the public and are held the fourth Thursday of every month from 4:00pm to 5:30pm (meetings in November and December are held on the third Thursday of the month). DESCRIPTION:Join us in person on October 23\, 2026 at 6:00 PM (Pacific Time) for the 60th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Regional Center and the entire developmental disabilities services system. The event will be held at South San Francisco Conference Center\, 255 S Airport Blvd\, South San Francisco\, CA 94080. \nThe celebration’s theme is “From Pilot to Promise: Honoring the Past\, Strengthening the Present\, Shaping the Future.” \nThe event will focus on the progress made for people with disabilities\, featuring speakers and an exhibit. It will be a meaningful occasion to reflect on past accomplishments and envision the future of the service system.
