TransparencyThe Golden Gate Regional Center Help Fund is a special fund established to provide emergency aid (food, clothing, shelter, or other necessities) to individuals and families served by the agency. The fund consists entirely of private donations, and its monies can only be expended in cases where the following circumstances exist:
- The individual or family that is to receive Help Fund aid lacks the financial resources necessary to purchase the needed food, clothing, shelter, or other necessities.
- No other public or private funding is available to purchase the food, clothing or shelter needed by the individual or family.
- The regional center is prohibited by law from using monies from its regular budget to purchase the food, clothing, shelter, or other necessities needed by the individual or family.
To donate to the Help Fund, please make checks payable to "GGRC Help Fund" and mail it to:
