Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities
The Link of the Month for May 2014 is to the website for the Center for Independence of Individuals with Disabilities (CID). As a nonprofit organization serving San Mateo County, CID seeks to promote full community integration for persons with disabilities by providing support services to said persons, raising awareness of disability-related issues, and advocating for systemic change on said persons' behalf.
Infant Development Association of California
The Link of the Month for April 2014 is to the website for the Infant Development Association (IDA) of California. Founded in 1983, IDA California's mission is to foster collaboration between parents of young children with special needs and the professionals who serve their families, while also providing education, advocacy and leadership on special needs-related issues.
People with Disabilities Foundation
The Link of the Month for March 2014 is to the website for the People with Disabilities Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing education and advocacy services to persons with psychiatric and/or developmental disabilities.
Disability Scoop
The Link of the Month for February 2014 is to the news website Disability Scoop. The site, which was founded in 2008, provides daily coverage of issues relevant to persons with developmental disabilities.
San Mateo County Commission on Disabilities
The Link of the Month for January 2014 is to the website for the San Mateo County Commission on Disabilities. In its role as an advisory body to the county Board of Supervisors, the commission encourages policies that promote the independence and full community participation of persons with disabilities.
Helen Keller National Center
The Link of the Month for December 2013 is to the website for the Helen Keller National Center for DeafBlind Youths and Adults. The center, which was established by an act of Congress, is a national rehabilitation center for individuals who are deaf-blind.

The Link of the Month for November 2013 is to the webpage 12 Autism Resources for Those Who Speak Spanish on the website for the Friendship Circle, a Michigan-based organization that provides programs and support to families of individuals with special needs.
