The Link of the Month for May 2019 is to a KQED report, "My Sister Can't Speak, But She Makes Herself Heard," which tells the story Ana Berlowitz, a nonverbal, nonambulatory woman with athetoid cerebral palsy who is able to communicate using a device on her wheelchair.

The Link of the Month for April 2019 is to the website for The Miracle League of San Francisco Peninsula, which is a nonprofit organization that provides an opportunity for individuals with developmental disabilities to play baseball in an organized team league.

The Link of the Month for February 2018 is to the website for the nonprofit organization Housing Choices. Founded in 1997, Housing Choices seeks to create and support affordable housing opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities in San Mateo, Santa Clara, San Benito, Santa Cruz and Monterey counties.
 

History of the Regional Centers

The Link of the Month for August 2018 is to the website for Disability Rights California, which is the organization designated under federal law as the protection and advocacy system for individuals with disabilities in the state of California.
